Jiu-Jitsu Magazine was founded in early 2011 with the specific goal of informing, educating, and entertaining those practicing Brazilian jiu-jitsu at every level. Initially launched as a print only publication we’ve expanded into the digital realm with a fully functional Apple iPad edition, YouTube channel and one of the most active Facebook pages in the world of jiu-jitsu.

Jiu-Jitsu Magazine is the most well distributed jiu-jitsu publication in North America, and can be found at retail chains such as Target Stores, Walgreen’s, 7-Eleven, Barnes & Noble, Publix, Safeway, Food Lion, Chapters, Books-A-Million, and hundreds more. If you are a fan of mine pick up your copy of Jiu-Jitsu Mag today and check out my regular column all about food…oh and jiu jitsu.

OK-Gi
Brendan of Ok Kimonos and GiReviews.net is a great friend of mine and fantastic member of the BJJ community. He has developed a great resource for adults within Jiu Jitsu along with a fantastic gear line for kids and adults a like. I mean hell the guy reviews gis, so its safe to say he can make a good one. But Brendan and I are not partnered up in business but rather in community! His focus has always been the community as a whole. That is where we connect and together have a lot in store for you all!

Brendan was sick of searching online for information about BJJ products and eventually started Gireviews.net to supply the community with a one-stop resource of information about all things BJJ. After reviewing 60+ gis he started his own gi company Ok Kimonos! He does a lot of work with donating gis along with proceeds to Tap Out Cancer. He is a legit dude and I am pleased to be working with him on some cool projects in the near future!

bjj finder logo
Andrew over at BJJFinder has not only compiled a massive data base of all BJJ gyms across the world he has developed an app to go along with it!

Use BJJ Finder App to add your gym, team, or even garage where you train at and boom, you are in the data base. Now anyone that moves to a new area, on vacation and did the right thing by packing their gi with them, or are just looking to train at a different location today, can jump on and find a spot! It is all about sharing the knowledge and having open doors. If the Gracie’s chose to be stingy and not share their art form, we would not be here today. Check out the BJJ Finder App here
